A cleaner, safer, more beautiful place to call home
We believe that lasting change starts at street level. Highveld City Upliftment brings together residents, professionals, and local experts to tackle the everyday challenges facing our neighbourhoods, from overgrown verges and littered roads to long-term urban redevelopment. Every hour you give makes a difference.

How you can get involved
Whether you have an afternoon to spare or want an ongoing role, there’s a place for you.
- Road cleaning Help plan and oversee the regular cleaning of our roads and public spaces.
- Parks & sidewalks Beautify our sidewalks and parks with plants, stones, and general upkeep.
- Grass & stormwater Assist with grass cutting, weed removal, and clearing of stormwater systems.
- Campaign monitoring Monitor and promote the Keep Our Community Clean, Safe and Functional campaign.

Join an expert team
Help develop long-term solutions in one of our specialist focus areas.
- Urban redevelopment Shape the future of our built environment through planning, design, and community-led development.
- Fauna & flora Protect and restore the natural biodiversity of our neighbourhoods for generations to come.
- Safety & security Collaborate on neighbourhood watch initiatives and community-driven safety strategies.
